Zeca Marques signs with Black Leopards

Black Leopards Football Club has extended Coach Zeca Marques by two years which will see him training the club for the next two seasons.
Marques, who joined Leopards from Moroka Swallows in January this year on a six month contract, took Leopards to the quarter finals of the Nedbank Cup and to the National First Division Play-Offs after they finished third in the league.
Leopards Spokesperson Berry Ramunenyiwa said they are happy to have secured Marques’ signature. “The team performed well under him last season. When he came we were lying 12th in the league and we finished third, that is remarkable. The other thing is that we don’t want to change things much in the team; we want to keep the team intact.”
Ramunenyiwa also informed that the club’s lethal striker Roggert Nyundu, who is on the wanted list of many Premier Soccer League (PSL) teams, has signed a three year contract with the team.
Nyundu scored 19 goals in the NFD league this season and was instrumental in Leopards’ successful quest for PSL status. “He has signed a three year contract with us and he remains at the team for the next three seasons,” Ramunenyiwa said.
