CompTIA, a global IT industry association, recently announced that Boston City Campus & Business College is rated its top partner in Africa and third globally for a second year consecutively.
Boston also has the highest pass rate of all CompTIA testing centres across Africa.
“This is an incredible achievement for a partner from South Africa and we are extremely proud to be associated with them,” says Loraine Vorster of CompTIA South Africa.
“We attribute the success of Boston City Campus & Business College to their method of teaching, dedication of staff, and involvement of senior management.”
CompTIA is the voice of the world’s information technology (IT) industry. It provides professional certifications for the IT industry through a network of vendor-neutral, independent training providers throughout the world.
In 2010 CompTIA launched the CompTIA Authorised Partner Programme (Capp) and Boston City Campus & Business College was the first partner in Africa; one of less than 20 in the world to be awarded Platinum status.
The programme is based on quality training and preparation for the international CompTIA examinations, among various other quality requirements.
Boston awards:
Largest Certification Partner 2015
Third Largest Certification Partner Globally 2015
Capp Partner of the Year 2015.
The Capp Partner award is the most prestigious award having been judged by an independent panel of experts who consider innovation and training, support to learners, growth in the business and certification of students,” says Vorster.
Boston City Campus & Business College is accredited to offer CompTIA certifications such as the CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+ and Security. Vorster adds that the association is supportive of the incorporation of CompTIA certifications within training programmes, allowing for the alignment of industry and professional certifications, making graduates more employable. Sue de Roos, managing director of Boston City Campus & Business College says the college’s excellent rating is a ray of light and hope against the backdrop of the many challenges faced by South African youth at present.
“Our rating goes to show that perseverance and commitment to excellence pays off no matter what.”
