Polokwane City ready for Orlando Pirates

The Management of Polokwane City Football Club has put behind them their recent 1-2 loss against Ajax Cape Town to shift their focus to Orlando Pirates whom they face on Tuesday evening at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
City has struggled to regain the form they showed in the opening match of the season when they beat Bloemfontein Celtic 3-2 at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Newly appointed Communications Manager, Tumelo Makgoara said they have got a strong and competitive team to win all matches and stressed that their win against Celtic was not a fluke but a hard fought victory.
“We are aware that we have not been doing well lately and we have moved on from that. Our focus now is on Orlando Pirates which gave us a tough time last season. We lost to them twice in our league matches and think it is time to redeem ourselves,” Makgoara said.
Pirates come into the match with heavy hearts after their 4-1 defeat at the hands of Zamalek during their CAF Confederations Cup match last Sunday night at Stade Petro Sport Stadium in Cairo. They will rely on the inform Bafana Bafana players Mpho Makola and Thamasanqa Gabuza to score goals.
