Polokwane City Football Club ready for Celtic


Polokwane City Football Club will be hoping for maximum points when they meet Bloemfontein Celtic Football Club at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday in the opening match of the new Premier Soccer League season.
Chief Operations Officer for the club, Tincy Tema said they are ready to upset Celtic on Saturday.
“This is our first match of the season and we need to start well. Last season we finished the league in the 12th position. The aim this season is to finish in the top 8 bracket but for us to achieve that we must start collecting points,” Tema said.
He also mentioned that they are happy to have a clean bill of health in the team ahead of the new season. “We don’t have any injuries in the team and that bodes well for us. The preparations have been going well and we are ready for the season,” Tema said.
Bloemfontein Celtics finished the league in the top 8 bracket and boasts experienced players such as Geoffrey Massa, Helder Pelembe, Vuyisile Wana, Musa Nyatama, Garbadino Mhango and Lerato Lamola who are capable of producing an exceptional performance on any given day. Kick-off for the match is scheduled for 15:00.
