While other shoppers were exhausting their budgets on Black Friday one lucky customer, Jonas Baloyi did not spend a single cent on the day but managed to walk away with a generator valued at R3 500 after winning the Wasa Pumps Trading competition.
The 60-year-old from Dichueneng village, Ga-Maja entered the competition after purchasing a complete water pump set for nearly

R20 000 on a single transaction.
The generator, he indicated, will be of great help at his cousin’s tavern when there is load shedding.
