Laerskool Ivy Park ready for cluster meeting

Laerskool Ivy Park has high expectations of its team of athletes that are participating in then Polokwane Cluster meeting today (Thursday).
Team Manager, Nadia Grobler said the team did well at the recent circuit meeting and they are therefore positive that the athletes will live up to their potential. “We are proud of them and confident that they will do the school proud at the cluster event. Our wish is to see them competing at the provincial finals,” Grobler said.

The u.13 athletes that are representing Laerskool Ivy park at the Polokwane Cluster meeting today are Hlogi Maja (1 200 m), Reagan Ramolefe (1 500 m), Bokang Mogoba (high jump) and Fentse Maredi (javelin). At the back are Nono Maseko (800 m), Gudani Mbodi (discus), Kholi Ntike (200 m) and Lethabo Letsoalo (shot put).

Tyrique Buys, Owethu Mlangeni and Makoma Tjege are all 1 200 m runners from Laerskool Ivy Park. Their u.11 team mates Tshepang Dankura (long jump), Lebule Moabelo and Letago Makwela (both shot put) are at the back.
