Brightly coloured running gear and reflective strips lit up the night when hundreds of athletes took part in the annual Mazda Nite Race hosted between the old and new Peter Mokaba stadiums on Friday evening.
All who completed the 5 km fun run or 10 km race were rewarded with a medal. Marshalls and traffic officials ensured athletes’ safety on the road while all models of new Mazda vehicles with headlights on made for additional light.

The other category winners were Eric Ledwaba (veteran), Israel Madibana (master), Jannie Sacco (grandmaster) and Martin Berg (walker).
