Eagle’s Nest Christian School’s Grade 12 learners recently received their matric jackets which they had designed themselves.
For over a decade now Grade 12s at Eagles Nest Christian School wear jackets of their own design. Four to five designs are handed in to the school management who then has the final say.
This year the jackets are white and blue with a hint of gold and what makes them really special are that each Grade 12 has his or her name embroidered in the built-in hoodie of the jacket. Mac van den Berg, Principal of the school, said the learners are allowed to wear their jackets to school on Fridays and thereby continue a proud tradition of the school.
