Black Leopards Football Club will tomorrow (Friday) travel to the Eastern Cape for their third match of the National First Division (NFD) against newcomers Mthatha Bucks at Mthatha Stadium on Saturday.
The Venda based outfit will welcome back their star midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase who travelled with South African u.23 national team to Tunisia last weekend for the preparations of the 2015 Africa u.23 Cup of Nations which will take place in Senegal in December.
Mthatha Bucks were promoted to the NFD alongside Mbombela United, following their successful campaign in the ABC Motsepe Foundation National Plays-Offs in the Northern Cape in July this year.
In their opening two matches of the league Mthata Bucks drew against Vasco Da Gama and lost against Milano United.
Leopards Coach, David Bright has said they are anticipating a tough match against Mthatha Bucks because they are unknown opponent to them. “We don’t want to undermine them because all teams in the NFD are very dangerous. We are not going to sit back and wait for them, we are going to attack from the first whistle,” Bright said.
He also mentioned defenders Tshivavhudzi Ndou and Marks Munyai are unavailable for the match due to injuries sustained in their previous match against African Warriors. “Apart from them all players are fit and ready for the match,” Bright informed.
