Autoteam opened its doors at the beginning of October on the corner of Excelsior and Schoeman streets with only one mission. “We would like to offer potential buyers great service, well looked after pre-owned vehicles at affordable prices and a lasting relationship,” Sales Manager Tim Baber said.
He explains that Autoteam is part of the Unitrans Group and administered by Limpopo Toyota. “We aim to serve clients in all income groups as we stock vehicles from R100 000 to R350 000. All vehicles have undergone a 71 point check and are certified not to be stolen or to have any accident damage,” Baber said, adding that vehicles are also certified not to be rebuilt and comes with a six months guarantee.
The sales team consist of three sales executives Phineas Sethosa, Jethro Sauer and Adolf Swanepoel, all with many years of experience in the motor industry and eager to help clients finding them the perfect vehicle.
Baber further said that Autoteam aims at establishing themselves as a reputable dealership.
“We need to build a relationship with clients. When they think used vehicles, Autoteam must be the first name that comes to mind. We would also to have clients think of as a reliable and honest team known for offering the best deals on all vehicles,” he said, adding that they intend to stock a good vehicle for every potential buyer.
The stock range will consist of all kinds of sedans, hatchback, family vehicles, bakkies and Sport Utility Vehicles. Various brands will also be stocked.
With any trade there are some challenges and according to Baber the used vehicle trade has some of its own.
“It is difficult to get the right vehicle that suits a potential buyer’s needs. Sometimes the kilometres are too high or a client is not happy with the colour of the vehicle. But these challenges are what keep us active in the industry. We are here to serve a client and we will do our best to get a vehicle that fits like a glove to any client’s needs,” Baber said.
He added that un-credit worthy potential buyers also cause a challenge in the industry.
