The third annual Westenburg V-Dub Crew Charity Bash 2017 took place at Westenburg Park in Polokwane on Saturday.
According to Morris More, speaking on behalf of the V-Dub Crew, they are a group of young, dedicated individuals who strive to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate in their community. “We believe that if we want to see a change in our community, we have to be that change,” he explained.
The event was themed in the colours of the German flag; black, red and yellow and there was plenty for each member of the family to do. This included a jumping castle and rides for the children, the Show and Shine sound competition, food stalls and refreshment bar, and music by deejays such as DJ Kooty, DJ Smokey, DJ Polly and DJ Tshepi.
More said the event was very well attended and everyone had an amazing time. “We have not yet decided what charitable cause the money collected will be used for,” he said.
