Sponsorship

Firmly positioning itself within its community, Polokwane Observer has increasingly taken on an integral interactive role in society over the past years.
Polokwane Observer is proud of its involvement in community affairs, for our readers and advertisers form the backbone of community structures. We are equally honoured to be associated with various institutions, corporates and organising bodies that continuously approach us as preferred media sponsor of their events.
The latest confirmed involvement is in the Black Management Forum Limpopo’s Corporate Golf Day. Other sponsorships include the most recent Cutest Baby and Mom competition, the Little Mr and Miss Winter pageant, the Limpopo Women Empowerment Fashion Show/Baobab Fashion Week, the Limpopo Economic Development Enterprise (LimDev) SMME launchpad and the Face of Mengouchi competition. We have existing agreements for exclusive coverage with the Miss Limpopo Trust in terms of the Miss Limpopo/Teen competition and the South African Council for Businesswomen (SACBW). We are involved in coverage of similarly important events, which vary from wine shows to boerewors competitions.
Being part of our community in this way suggests confidence in Limpopo’s preferred publication, which we don’t take lightly. Unfortunately there are individuals who take these agreements for granted or abuse the arrangements. We don’t see ourselves playing a part in events from which selfish individuals benefit.
We see our involvement as compulsory and guard the responsibility that accompanies these empowerment efforts.
