Polokwane will soon have its own Junior City Council where high school learners can be enriched on youth governance matters, among other issues. The 31-year-old Pretoria Junior City Council met with several schools from in and around the city at The Deck Family Restaurant on Saturday during an interactive workshop about how the council operates.

The overwhelming majority of those in attendance agreed about the need to establish such a non political forum for learners. Schools interested in knowing more about the initiative may contact the organiser, Ms Julie Steynberg at 082 4933569.
