Betesda Inner Beauty and Health Clinic in Polokwane is celebrating Women’s Month with a variety of special offers to fit all your needs.
Betesda is a multiracial unisex beauty and hair studio that offers the latest in beauty and hair treatments. The salon is a tranquil place where clients can indulge in magnificently luxurious beauty treatments, such as holistic stone facials, sleep therapy, high pressure water saunas, spa pedicures and a host of heavenly massages.
Other than that their menu includes lasting lashes, permanent make-up, slimming therapy, waxing through the use of body sugar, hair styling and extensions, nail care and sun tanning options. They further stock a series of products like the Phyris Skin Care and the Africology ranges.
Apart from a long list of therapies ideal for the body, bookings for groups or couples can further be done and would-be brides can turn to them for packages which include top-to-toe attention.
They also conduct training in make-up and hairstyling for housewives and do make-overs.
Betesda also now offers complete wedding planning packages. All you need to do is arrange the bride and groom as well as the bridesmaids’ clothing and Betesda will do the rest.
The driving force behind this exclusive salon is Ms Jacquelene Louwrens. "A woman is like a flower. If you don’t give it water, prune it and take care of it, it will fade. If you do, it will bloom into the most beautiful, colourful flower," Louwrens explains.
She says her motivation is in the fact that there is so much one can do for oneself to improve one’s looks if one only has the knowledge. "I have made it my business to obtain the knowledge and now I share it to my clients’ advantage," she says. "I was also a fading flower but luckily fortune smiled on me and I was able to learn about beauty and apply it to myself."
Louwrens says she stays up to date with the latest in beauty products and trends by attending beauty expos and surfing the internet.
She says her inspiration is her husband, Gideon. "He has put me on a pedestal and always tells me the things a woman wants to hear from her beloved!"
To aspiring beauticians, Louwrens says: "If this is your passion, go for it. If you can share your skills for free not expecting anything in return, your generosity will come back to you a hundredfold and you will indeed become a success."
Betesda is currently running a makeover competition that is being advertised locally. "We would like the public to nominate and motivate for a makeover of an older woman, above 60 years of age and we are also looking for a nomination from any retirement home motivating the makeover of an elderly couple residing with them."
Louwrens expressed her gratitude towards her employees, Jeanrique Niemann and Riana Botes for treating Betesda’s clients so well. She says Bianca Cook, Betesda’s hair stylis is unique with experience of all the latest hair styles as well as Ellumen and hair extensions. "Please support her."
Bestesda recently relocated to the Checkers Centre in Biccard Street. For more information, or to make an appointment contact the team on 015 291 4747.
