A genius in Fusion Boutique Hotel’s kitchen

Due to the fact that Fusion Boutique Hotel offers only the best in five-star service and believes in employing and empowering people from their area, they recently implemented a very extensive induction program to be completed by all Fusion employees.
The induction program entails the study of the hotel, its employees, the services and facilities they offer their guests. Staff members are also presented with a credo which they are required to carry with them every day and say out loud together before their shift. In order to pass they must achieve a mark higher than 70% and are only allowed two chances to pass.
To their amazement they discovered a true genius in their kitchen. Mr Jonas Mampa, employed as a griller at Fusion Boutique Hotel, got the highest mark - by achieving 93% for his induction test - of all the staff in the hotel.
"We are so proud of Jonas and we would love to develop his skills and potential. Jonas was given the great honour of being the first Employee of the Month at Fusion for February. We are also sending Jonas on a four-day introductory chef course at the University of Johannesburg and if he shows interest in the field we will happily assist him in completing a chef course in future."
Mampa’s story, as well as all the other news and events happening at Fusion Boutique Hotel, can be viewed on their newly released website at www.fusionboutiquehotel.co.za.
Mr Jonas Mampa receives his certificate for Employee of the Month from Fusion Boutique Hotel owner Ms Maria du Plessis.
