Impalas demolished by Border Aloes
Aloes batted first making 234 for 8 in their 50 overs, with Makhapela notching up the top score of 74 not out.
In reply, the Impalas struggled and were taken out for 166, with Joe Shokane scoring 43 and Dewald Weterman 42. The Impala bowlers performed reasonably well, with Johan Barkhuizen taking 2 for 41 in 10 and Leon Zietsman 2 for 52 in 10. Result: Impalas lose by 68 runs.
Impalas lose again
This time against EP Grahamstown in a South African Rural Cricket week fixture, going down by 4 wickets.
Mailula (37) and Joubert (30) were the best Impala batsmen, helping their team to a total of 179. EP Grahamstown easily reached the required runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
More Impala losing
They were thrashed by Boland East, losing by 9 wickets.
Boland pace bowler, F Adams, delivered 10 devastating overs, taking 6 for 27 in 10, sending the Impalas back for a miserable 75. Boland got the required runs for the loss of 1 wicket.
Even more Impala losing
Playing Boland West, the Impalas scored 158, with Isaac Senetla the best batsmen, notching up 37.
A win was in the offing, but with Boland West on 142 for 7, the rain came down, winning by 3 wickets on the D/L method. Johan Barkhuizen bowled well for the Impalas, taking 3 for 35 in 7.
