Residents of the city may experience challenges when communicating with Polokwane Municipality on issues that require utilisation of the municipality’s IT system.
Communications and Marketing Manager of Polokwane Municipality, Matshidiso Mothapo reported at noon that some of the services in the rates hall that require connection to the IT systems were not available. “This is as a result of technical challenges with servers. Most of our services including account payments, enquiries and e-mails are affected,” Mothapo said.
Mothapo confirmed that technicians were busy working on the systems to resolve the issue as soon as possible. “A further update will be provided as soon as the systems are up and running. The municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused,” Mothapo said.
