Learners of PEPPS College participated in an SANBS blood drive recently and played their part in saving lives.
Nkako Chokoe was one of the learners to donate blood. “I have had first-hand experience with someone needing blood as my mom was in that situation some years ago,” she said.
Blood buddy Lefa Mashaba who is a donor himself, said he finds his role as blood buddy very rewarding especially when someone he has encouraged to donate blood does so for the first time.
