Peers, parents witness awards ceremony with pride

Dressed in their formal school uniforms, learners of the Intermediate Phase and Enrichment Centre of Mitchell House assembled in the school’s theatre on Friday to receive certificates and trophies for sport and academic as well as special achievements during the year.
Mitchell House Headmaster, Andrew Cook congratulated the achievers and thanked them for their hard work. His message to those that have not done so well, was to work harder and smarter. “Put in more effort and you will improve,” Cook encouraged them.
Cook thanked parents for their input into holistic education and the educators and supporting staff for going the extra mile. “I am so blessed to work with such a team,” he said.
Cook concluded by advising the learners that are leaving the school to hold on to the values that they have learnt at Mitchell House.
