Judges for the 2017 Regional Business Achiever Awards (RBAA) of the Limpopo Branch of the Businesswomen’s Association of South Africa (Bwasa) will be appointed soon and nominations for the awards may be submitted until 31 May.
Mmabogoshi Msiza, Chairperson of Bwasa Limpopo confirmed that the process to select judges for the competition has started and that an announcement in this regard will be made in due course.
The six categories in which awards are to be made are Emerging Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurs, Professionals, Corporates, Social Entrepreneurs and Women in Government and nominees have to meet the set criteria and accept the nominations. Nominees must be women, be a role model and be seen to be actively making a difference within the company or corporation and community. “Finally nominees should advocate and be able to be a value ambassador of everything that Bwasa stands for and be a South African resident or citizen whose business is based in the geographic region of the closest Bwasa branch,” Msiza explained.
