Nominations for the 2017 Regional Business Achiever Awards (RBAA) of the Limpopo Branch of the Businesswomen’s Association of South Africa (Bwasa) are now open and will close on 31 May.
Mmabogoshi Msiza, Chairperson of Bwasa Limpopo appeals to business organisations, business and community formations and individuals to once again nominate exceptional women to be considered for the awards. “The six categories in which awards are to be made are Emerging Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurs, Professionals, Corporates, Social Entrepreneurs and Women in Government and nominees have to meet the set criteria and accept the nominations,” Msiza said.
According to Msiza, the RBAA recognises outstanding businesswomen for their valuable contribution to the South African economy. “Each year we honour the many remarkable women whose achievements in business have served to elevate the true spirit of Proudly South African within the local economy,” Msiza explained.
Nominees must be women, be a role model and be seen to be actively making a difference within the company or corporation and community. Finally nominees should advocate and be able to be a value ambassador of everything that Bwasa stands for and be a South African resident or citizen whose business is based in the geographic region of the closest Bwasa branch.
