No arrest yet after robbery of tourists

Provincial and National Police confirmed that no arrests have been secured yet after an incident during which nine foreign tourists were allegedly robbed at their holiday home at Siloque outside Phalaborwa on 26 December.
Provincial Police Communications Head Motlafela Mojapelo confirmed that the manhunt was continuing but that no arrests were made yet.
This after Provincial Police Commissioner Nneke Ledwaba mobilised a team of investigators to track down the suspects.
It is alleged that three armed suspects forcefully entered the holiday home of the tourists. While the tourists were held at gunpoint they were reportedly robbed of their personal belongings such as cell phones, laptops, jewellery and R5 000 in cash. The suspects allegedly fled the scene in the victims’ rented Mercedes-Benz ML which was later found abandoned in the bush about 10 km from the crime scene.
A case of house robbery is being investigated.
