Motocross enthusiasts were swept off their feet by the stunts performed by 60 off-road bikers during the fourth round of the Limpopo Motocross Series that was held at Capricorn Racing Club on Saturday.
The challenge attracted bikers from Polokwane, Phalaborwa and Nelspruit and one of the participants, Michel Casanova from France, is said to be a former motocross European champion.
He claimed the first place in MX3 Masters category and the event organiser, Dean Rudiger said all the bikers did their best and he was pleased with the support.
Bikers competed in different categories which include Pro Mini, Junior Flat, Flat Track open and 85cc.
Rudiger stated that there are two more rounds before announcing the winner of the series.
The fifth round is expected to take place in Phalaborwa on 29 September while the last round is scheduled for 27 October in Nelspruit.
