Manhunt for four after business robbery in city centre

Police in Polokwane have launched a manhunt for four suspects who allegedly robbed a cell phone store in Rissik Street last Wednesday.
Provincial Police Spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe indicated that four suspects armed with pistols and rifles allegedly stormed the store at about 11:00.
They reportedly ordered the owner and staff to lie on the floor and stole an undisclosed amount of money, laptops and other items before fleeing the scene, according to Ngoepe.
From footage provided it is clear how a grey Volkswagen Tiguan is double parked in front of the shop before four gun-yielding persons emerge from the vehicle while bystanders run from the scene.
Ngoepe confirmed that the vehicle had the registration number DZC 842 L and that a case of business robbery was being investigated.
No arrests were made yet and anyone with information can contact the crime stop number on 08600 10111 or report to the nearest Police station.
