Kiss and tell at Mall of the North

To add a little spice to this Valentine’s Day, Mall of the North has set up a kissing booth in their Game Court where couples can capture and share their love.
Mall of the North Marketing Manager Mari Delport explains that couples are encouraged to take selfies in die booth or have a friend take a photograph of them kissing. “It is a beautiful backdrop and a unique setting, making it possible to capture memories that will last a life time,” she said, adding that the booth can be used free of charge. The booth was set up last week and will be open to the public until 14 February.
Irene Schempers and her husband, Ben were eager to try out the kissing booth as they are always looking for ways to express their love. “We both have romantic souls and celebrate our love every day. We also make time to do something special together at least once a month,” Irene said.
The two met each other in 2009 through friends and became a couple soon after. “We were engaged in 2012 and married in 2013.”
Their monthly date nights include picnics in the open air, a weekend away and a board game with a good bottle of wine close by. They also love to go to the movies, write each other love letters and enjoy couples’ massages at spas.
