Gymstars excel at prestigious competition

Gymstars Gymnastics recently reaffirmed their status as one of the best gymnastics schools in the city when 33 of its members brought home excellent results from the Novice Team Trophy, North Competition in Pretoria.
They outclassed their rivals in nearly every category and won 15 gold, 16 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Corlette Sedikana was named Best u.11, Level 1 Gymnast. The overall first prize for teams over 11, Level 2 went to Duane Welman, Micaela Wood and Carmen Braack.
Lelanie Logtenberg, one of their coaches, said that she is extremely proud of the girls.
“They are working hard and focussing on the next challenge, the Limpopo competition that will be held on 29 May in Polo-kwane,” she explained. Gymstars offers gymnastics classes from the age of three years and specialise in pre-school gymnastics, girls’ rhythmic gymnastics and boys gymnastics.
