The team at Capricorn Quilting on Friday launched their new top of the class range of electronic, mechanical and computerised sewing and embroidery machines from Elna.
They turned the shop’s sewing hall into an exhibition centre where a wide range of Elna sewing and embroidery machines were displayed along with a multitude of examples of what these machines can do.
Belinda Sanders, National Training Manager at Elna, was on hand to demonstrate and explain each model’s virtues and said she was excited about working with Capricorn Quilting, especially after selling their first sewing and embroidery combination machine shortly after launching the Elna range. “Elna has a firm belief in making sewing fun and to make sewing fun, the machines need to be easy to use, versatile and modern,” she said.
Nico Nel, Manager at Capricorn Quilting says the edition of Elna products to their offering opens up a whole new world for their customers. “The Elna machines are top of the range, but much more affordable than other brands. Today we can celebrate a partnership that is beneficial to all, especially our customers,” he said.
The Elna range at Capricorn Quilting includes the eXcellence series. Very powerful and extremely quick, the Elna eXcellence is a smart choice for quilters as well as for dressmakers, stylists and designers.
Sanders pointed out some of the features that make the Elna machines ideal for artistic work. These include a large sewing surface, built-in needle threading, multiple accessory storing spaces, LED lighting and a USB port for easy design transfers.
Ann Nel, owner of Capricorn Quilting said she was very excited to be the only Elna agent in Polokwane. “The launch was a great success which goes to show that there was a definite need in the city that we are filling,” she said.
