Entertainment, caring hand in hand at Meropa

676

There is never a dull moment at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World. Not only do they offer top class entertainment for the whole family, the company is also committed to helping those in need.
Meropa’s Sympathy SleepOut saw executives and employees spend the night under the stars on 28 July to raise awareness and collect necessities for vulnerable children. This initiative has now benefitted Home Tekna, a children’s home in Bela-Bela.
Thanks to the kind donations from the public and support from corporate sponsors, a collection of winter clothing, blankets, linen, books, stationary and non-perishable food were amassed for Home Tekna and personnel of Meropa recently travelled to Bela-Bela to hand out the donations to the children.
Celebrated South African gospel performer, Limpopo’s own Winnie Mashaba, delighted her fans with a spectacular show at Meropa on 6 August as part of the second annual Moral Regeneration Concert tour.
The event was attended by her loyal fans whom were on their feet throughout the concert. A delegation from Moria accompanied Bishop Barnabas Lekganyane of the ZCC and the KK Sekhukhune Royalty to the concert.
Guests were captivated as she performed familiar favourites from her 16 years in music as well as songs from her 14th album, ‘1st Hymns Project’.
The songstress had words of encouragement for her fans and echoed the sentiment of guest speaker former 2014/15 Miss Limpopo, Kholofelo Lekganyane who said prayer is key in everybody’s life.
In the meantime, Meropa’s Wins and Wows promotion is heating up. On 15 August Peter Davids won a Chevrolet Utility, while runner-up, Mohale Lebeya, won R25 000 cash.
There are R1,3 million in prizes to be won in the Wins and Wows promotion before it ends on 30 September.
With Power Hours on Wednesdays at 12:00 and 20:00 as well as weekly lucky draws every Wednesday at 20:00, there are many more chances to win with Meropa.
The promotion is open to MVG card holders only and guests are invited to join this programme by visiting the MVG Desk at Meropa Casino. Registration is free and being a cardholder opens up a myriad of rewards and benefits.
Cards are issued immediately and new members can start earning points straight away.
