Learners at Local Toddler Pre-Primary School had the audience begging for more recently when they took to the stage for the school’s annual concert. The event themed ‘South Africa – Our rainbow nation’ highlighted the learners’ talent for song and dance.
School co-director Twané Grobler said this was only their second concert since the establishment of the institution two years ago. She further stated that the gathering was also to celebrate one of the school’s milestones as they had started with one learner and now cater for 77.
Grobler explained that the concert theme was aimed at teaching children unity, love and respect for one another.
She added that it was important to embrace African cultures and traditions and concluded by saying together people can make a bigger impact in the country.
