Six suspects are expected to appear in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court this (Thursday) afternoon facing charges of malicious damage to property relating to an incident of alleged vandalism at a Vodacom store in Mall of the North on the weekend.
According to Provincial Police Corporate Communications Head, Motlafela Mojapelo the suspects were arrested earlier today following an incident at Mall of the North on Sunday when several suspects reportedly stormed a Vodacom store and vandalised the property. The estimated damaged caused by the incident is R900 000, according to Mojapelo.
He said the suspects are aged between 25 and 45 and more arrests are expected as Police investigations continue.
