A learner from Northern Academy Secondary School was allegedly stabbed by a fellow learner at the campus in Suid Street earlier this morning (Thursday).
Curro Holdings Executive Head of Communications and Marketing, Mari Lategan confirmed the incident.
“The injured learner was immediately attended to and medical services summoned to the scene to transport the learner to a local hospital. He is in a satisfactory condition,” Lategan said, adding that the other learner will be subjected to an internal enquiry and disciplinary action.
She could, however, not provide further details.
Provincial Police Spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe who was attending a meeting indicated that he was not aware of the incident.
