Local pilot, Mr Jonathan Esser put his precision flying skills to the test against the best in South Africa and will soon represent his country while living his passion.
Esser, known to fellow pilots and businesspersons as Jonty’s, finally realised his life long dream of representing South Africa recently, when he was short listed for the Springbok team representing South Africa at the World Pilot Rally Championships in Poland in August 2010.

At least 26 people have died in 16 fatal road accidents in Limpopo since the beginning of this month.These disturbing statistics caught the attention of Roads and Transport MEC Pinky Kekana who urged motorists to drive safely during the festive season.
Mr Wisani Ngobeni, Spokesperson for the Department said Kekana’s call comes after an unexpected number of fatal crashes were recorded over the past weekend.

Premier Cassel Mathale has called for a review or possible scrapping of the state’s three quotation system when doing business with the private sector.
Speaking at the International Anti-Corruption Day breakfast held at the Office of the Premier on Wednesday, Mathale said the system has been widely abused by companies who supply the three quotes under different names.

Die lewe van ‘n pragtige vierjarige seuntjie hang af van die beskikbaarheid van mediese voorraad nadat hy onlangs met leukemie gediagnoseer is en sedertdien talle kere by die provinsiale hospitaal weggewys is, hoofsaaklik oor onvoldoende voorraad.
Die klein Justin van Aswegen het in November begin kla dat sy bene seer is en hy het mank begin loop. Twee weke later is hy met leukemie gediagnoseer.

Political parties in the province have called on Premier Cassel Mathale to reshuffle his cabinet with immediate effect next year
Topping the aggrieved parties’axing lists is Health and Social Development MEC, Ms Meriam Segabutla whose department was grilled several times by the Standing Committee on Public Accounts (Scopa) following the alleged disappearance of ambulances, minibuses and other vehicles belonging to the department.
